Old Ambo (Ethiopia) neckrest, well balanced shape, it is also of a beautiful age as evidenced by the patina of use especially at the base. Engravings on the sides of the uprights as is often the case. It is characteristic of the style 6 listed in the book of Odilon Adouin.

Small restored crack on the top of an upright, hardly visible...
