Ancient headrest / stool Arbore from the Omo Valley (Ethiopia). Wood with a light patina, a rather rare and well balanced shape, between the two feet a crossbar probably served as a handle. The patina, and wear under the feet show a significant use. To be compared to style 3 in our book "Headrests from the Horn of Africa" by O. Audouin. Height: 13.5 cm. Length: 25 cm
