Old Baule music hammer (Ivory Coast), composed of a twisted handle topped by a buffalo head and its knocker. Very beautiful sculpture, rhythmic and very well proportioned, which is undoubtedly the work of a great sculptor. The sides of the knocker are decorated with engraved geometric patterns, the knocker shows significant wear, evidence of prolonged use. Wood with dark honey patina. Height : 28,5 cm.
