Old and rare small Dan mask (Ivory Coast). Probably a hut mask, whose metal blade allowed it to be driven into the ground. It represents a face of typical Dan shape with a frontal rib extending with the nose. The eyes are made of metal and painted. The back of the mask is covered and dressed in red cloth, itself adorned with cowries. Wood with a patina of use. Total height: 35 cm. Old collection from the south of France.
