Old Guéré mask (Ivory Coast), it is as it was the custom, carved with horns, tubular eyes, open mouth and a nose. The whole is of a beautiful symmetry, the fixing holes are square which is generally the proof of a good age. The nose is decorated with square nails, the teeth are made of metal, presence of staples with remains of raffia. Wood with dark brown patina. Height : 22 cm.
