Old Guéré mask (Ivory Coast), spectacular and powerful decorated with different materials and elements. The whole mask shows a beautiful age (patina and aspect of the wood) and an important use. The eyes have been studded and covered with animal skins. The list of different elements that make up the mask is consequent: cotton, rattles, fabrics, animal skins, metal (teeth), nails, leather, bullet casings, wooden horns, metal ring, red paint, animal claw. The interior shows an important portage, and a fabric padding. Height : 37 cm.
