Old Igbo mask (Nigeria), representing a face with horns. Beautiful symmetry and expression, the features are finely drawn (point joining the top of the nose, finely carved teeth...) All these details show the mastery of the sculptor. The whole mask is covered with natural pigments (kaolin and black pigments). Small lack at the top of the mask, crack on the left part. Light wood, patina of wear inside. Height : 31 cm (with the horns)
