Ancient statuette from Komaland (Ghana), probably representing an important figure seated with his hands on his knees. He is wearing a strong necklace, a loincloth and an arm bracelet. The top of the head has been hollowed out and pierced, as have the ears. As is often the case with excavated objects, various parts have been glued back together (visible in the photos). Terracotta, height: 21 cm.
