Old Lobi male statuette (Burkina faso). She seems to be swaying, with her right leg slightly set back, and her head turned to the left. The movement of the raised arm responds to that which descends along the body. The proportions are harmonious, the legs are very well sculpted, the face is hard and expressive. The patina is crusty and earthy, with some remains of feathers. Cracks visible in the photos. The style is similar to that of the sculptor Tyohepthe Pale. Height: 22.5cm.
