Ancient and large male Lobi statue (Burkina faso), representing a figure with a beautiful crest shaped hairdo, arms detached from the body . Powerful and serene, she exudes great serenity... In spite of the outrages of time, she remains a very beautiful example of the beautiful Lobi statuary... Dense wood, sacrificial patina (many traces of blood), crusty in places, lacks visible on the photos, due to xylophages and burial in the ground. Height: 85 cm. Former Parisian collection.
