Ancient Lobi statuette (Burkina faso) representing a pottery carrier. Beautiful movement of the arms, elongated and thin, ending with small hands. Beautiful interiority of the face, half-closed eyes, beautiful treatment of the legs which energizes the sculpture. Wood with a grey and sacrificial patina (feathers), the left foot is missing. Height : 30 cm.
