Antique and rare Lobi cane (Burkina faso), carved with three male and female figures topped by a stylized bird.

Interesting composition with alternating backs and faces, the addition of Janus (female) figures and the stylization of each statuette (short legs, elongated arms).

Beautiful deep patina and use on the whole object, visible crack, erosion at the base.

Hardwood, height: 70 cm
