Old and rare Mossi fetish (Burkina faso). It is carved with a torso perched on a conical base. The sculpture is well balanced and symmetrical, the headdress is in the form of a crest, the mouth is abstract, a navel is represented by a hollow. Interesting treatment of the back of the head, the arms and the neck are surrounded by red patinated fabric. Sacrificial patina on the whole object. Height : 39 cm
