Ancient Kpelie mask, Sénoufo (Ivory Coast), of classical construction, it is composed of horns, small "legs" at the bottom of the face. Small bun at the top of the head, the forehead bears a scarification, as well as under the eyes and at the corners of the mouth. A labret is also represented under the mouth. Small visible lack at the right horn, as well as on the lower right side of the mask. The wood has nice wear marks, and its grain is clearly visible. Dark brown patina. Height : 29 cm.
