Ancient Senufo statuette (Ivory Coast) representing a female figure, arms detached from the body, hands on the stomach. She is wearing a cup or a canary on her head. Stylized headdress, scarifications at the corners of the mouth, labret under the mouth, bracelets on the forearms, scarifications at the navel, the legs are bent which accentuates the dynamic character of the object. The feet are visibly missing. Wood with black patina. Height : 28 cm. Former Parisian collection.
